Ribbon Report Spotlight

You might say Lucy Paige Ellett was born
volunteering for Susan G. Komen.
She has been a member of the Bunch of
Outrageous Babes Race Team (Team Captain, Janet Frantz) since she was just a
baby in a stroller. Family and team members would take turns pushing her during
the race.
But now at age nine, she can walk the course on
her own with her Mother, Grandfather and younger Sister. She usually gets a
glimpse of her Dad as he races by in the 10K run.
The Komen Race for the Cure has been an annual family event for Lucy
Paige for as long as she can remember.

Keeping Up with the Latest Research
Susan G. Komen announced a new service for breast cancer patients and their loved ones with the launch of its new Breast Cancer Clinical Trial Information Helpline (1-877-465-6636). The toll-free helpline aims to increase understanding of breast cancer clinical trials, give people the information and resources they need to make an educated decision about clinical trial enrollment and make it easier for breast cancer patients to participate in and potentially benefit from promising research.
