1. How do I register for the Israel Race? Click on the Register Now button at the top of this page to get to the online registration form. The first step is to select whether you want to register as an individual, form a team, or join an existing team. Then you will need to select if you wish to participate virtually or if you plan to be at the Race on Race day and wish to participate in person. Note that if you have registered for a Komen Race in the past, you will have a username and password that should make re-registration quick and easy! Don't know your username and password? 2. What is a VIP Participant? VIP stands for Virtual Israel Participant. No matter where you are in the world, there's a place for you at the Komen Israel Race for the Cure. Can't be in Israel in person on Race day? Show your support and take action by registering as a Virtual Israel Participant. Virtual participants receive an official 2012 Israel Race T-shirt and bib. In an effort to be good stewards of our funds, Komen will only ship Virtual Race participant T-shirt packets if a valid U.S. mailing address is provided at the time of registration. Questions? 3. Can I register even if I do not plan to travel to Jerusalem for the Race? Yes! No matter where you are in the world, there's a place for you at the Komen Israel Race for the Cure. Can't be in Israel in person on Race day? Show your support and take action by registering today as a Virtual Israel Participant (VIP). Virtual participants receive an official 2012 Israel Race T-shirt and bib. Note: In an effort to be good stewards of our funds, Komen will only ship Virtual Race participant T-shirt packets if a valid U.S. mailing address is provided at the time of registration. Questions? 4. If I need help with registration, who should I contact? Send us an email at IsraelRace@komen.org. Tell us the best phone number to reach you at and someone will be in touch within 48 hours!

5. How will I receive my Race T-shirt and bib? For those who register to participant VIRTUALLY - Your T-shirt packet will be mailed to you in late April at the U.S. mailing address provided at the time of registration. In an effort to be good stewards of our funds, Komen will not ship internationally. T-shirts will be mailed in early May. For those who registered as an adult, child, solider, or student - your T-shirts can be picked up in Israel prior to the Race. You will receive an email prior to Race day with instructions on where to pick up your T-shirt. Details coming soon.

6. What is the deadline for registration? Online Virtual Race registration closes at midnight on Race day, May 3, 2012. For those who plan to register to participate in person on Race day, online registration in English closes at midnight on Monday, April 30. Participants can also register the morning of the Race at Sacer Garden starting at 10:00am.

7. How much does it cost to participate in the Komen Israel Race? To register virtually for the Race, meaning that you do not plan to travel to Israel for the actual event, the registration fee is $50.00 U.S. dollars. Your registration fee covers the cost of shipping your official Race T-shirt and bib to a valid U.S. mailing address. Virtual registration fee for youth (under 18) is $35.00. To register to participate in person at the Race in Jerusalem, the registration fee is $7.00 U.S. Dollars. This includes an official Israel Race participant T-shirt, and a bottled water.
