To get involved as an “Office for the Cure," we are asking offices to rally their agents together to give per-transaction donations. The person who enrolls the team for the program will be designated as the contact person for that team and responsible for creating the Team Name.
We recommend "Office for the Cure" teams set a goal to reach a minimum fundraising total of $5,000 per calendar year. RE/MAX associates contribute more than $25,000 annually through this program to help Komen find the cures.
Your Participant Center is a place where you go to access the tools you need to support you as an "Office for the Cure," such as marketing resources (including program logo and sign rider information), various donations forms and Komen-branded merchandise. More importantly, the participant center allows you to customize a personal page to share your team's story with others. This page also has a thermometer where you can track your fundraising progress.
You can make a donation online by logging into your "Office for the Cure" team page or by clicking on the "Donate Now" tab on the Home for the Cure site.
Here, others can also make a donation towards your team's fundraising goal by searching your office name. If an office's name does not come up in the search inquiry, this means they are not registered for the Home for the Cure program.
Athough we have recommended fundraising goals, there is no minimum requirement associated with this program, and donations are not taken from your paycheck.
While most of the donations are made online through a credit card, we also have check donation forms available through your team's participant center.
