We look forward to coming together to walk to end breast cancer with you on Saturday, October 5, 2024! 

6:30 am | Event Site & On-site Registration Opens

  • Explore our four pillar zones (Research, Care, Community and Action), visit the “We Remember” tent, and meet our Community Partners. Don’t forget to pick up your commemorative Komen Wrap for the Opening Ceremony.

7:15 am | Opening Ceremony & Pathway of Hope

  • Survivors and those living with Metastatic Breast Cancer meet at Hope Village. We invite survivors to help us kick start our walk in our Pathway of Hope. Don’t miss your chance to be in our group photo!
  • While in Hope Village make sure you grab a postcard on ShareForCures, Komen’s breast cancer research registry focused on finding the cures for breast cancer. Learn how you can accelerate discoveries, make an impact, and be a catalyst for change!
  • Honor survivors, those currently in treatment and those living with metastatic breast cancer as they walk down the Pathway of Hope; celebrate our top fundraisers; and listen to inspiring stories of resilience.

This event is a celebration of the strength and resilience of survivors and all people living with metastatic breast cancer. We honor these members of our community at:

Hope Village Celebration | 6:30 am

Join us in the Hope Village area where we will have fun activities especially for our survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer.

Pathway of Hope/Survivor Parade | 7:45 am

All survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer will kickoff our walk as we celebrate YOU, with our Pathway of Hope.

Your Event T-shirt

All registered breast cancer survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer will receive a special event shirt to recognize your special place in our event. To guarantee your shirt arrives in time for you to wear it on event morning, you must register by Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 11:59 pm CT.

Local T-Shirt Details

We are now mailing all shirts for $100+ fundraisers, survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer. To receive your Survivor or Thriver t-shirt in time for Walk day*, you must register by Sunday, September 8, 2024. Any participant who raises $100 or more, including Survivors and Thrivers, by Sunday, September 8, 2024, will receive their t-shirt in time for walk. Participants, including Survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer who register and raise $100 after Sunday, September 8, 2024, will receive your shirt(s) by mail after the event. The final cut-off date for participants to raise $100 and receive a shirt is Sunday, November 3, 2024.

Please note: there will be no t-shirts available for pick up either pre-event or on event day. Thank you for your commitment to Susan G. Komen and our efforts to simplify our t-shirt process.

*Shirts are being mailed via USPS the week of the event. You may receive the week of the event if you raised $100 by Sunday, September 8, 2024. As with any shipping provider, delays may occur.

How long is the Walk?

The 2024 Komen Los Angeles MORE THAN PINK Walk will be 2 miles in length.

Getting to the Event and Parking

Parking for all participants is $15 and is located at the intersection of 39th and Figueroa Streets. Additional parking can be accessed at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd and South Hoover Street.

Public transportation is also available to Exposition Park. Take the Metro Expo Line to Expo Park/USC Station.

Are strollers allowed at the event?

Yes! We encourage participants of all ages to join us on event day!

Can I bring my dog(s) to the event?

Yes! Dogs are allowed to join us on the course and in the event area. Please keep your pet(s) leashed at all times for the safety of your pet and other event participants.

What is the deadline for fundraising?

All donations on your behalf that are received through Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 11:59 pm CT will be credited to your fundraising total and will be eligible for fundraising incentives.
