Why are you participating?
Melissa started working for Custom Embroidery & Screenprinting in 2001. Over time, she learned all the aspects of the business well enough to take over ownership when her boss retired in 2012. Since then, the business has grown more and more every year. She attributes part of her success to being a proud member of Lynchburg Connect, a local referral group that gives back to the community by helping non-profits. Also, by running her business with integrity and truly appreciating her customers as well as her employees.
“I am participating in this Big Wig fundraiser in remembrance of my aunt Glenna Roach, who lost her battle to breast cancer in 2016. I also have friends who are survivors and some friends who are going through treatment right now. Cancer is way too common and a cure needs to be found! Thank you for considering donating for the cause!”
