Spectrum Mobile Team Schenectady is joining in the fight against breast cancer
This year, Spectrum Mobile's Schenectady Mobile Support Center and our Safety Committee, SHAPE are taking on the fight against breast cancer. We have created the Spectrum Mobile/SHAPE Pink Out Campaign so that we can raise funds to stop this disease that affects 1 in 8 women during their lifetime. As the world’s largest and most impactful breast cancer organization, Susan G. Komen supports more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit outside the U.S. government, while providing real-time help to those facing the disease.
We want to join Susan G. Komen in their efforts to end breast cancer forever and we are asking for your help to make that vision a reality. Your gift will help Susan G. Komen provide education, screening and treatment programs for women and men in our community, and support cutting-edge research so that one day we can live in a world without breast cancer.
Please help us by making a donation online with your debit or credit card by clicking the button above my fundraising thermometer. Any size donation is greatly appreciated, however small or large. As a team, we can make a difference!!
As a show of our appreciation for your donation (any size you are comfortable with), we have an array of pink accesories you can wear this month to show your support, and one raffle ticket to win one of our Pink Out Gift Baskets. Just reach out to Kelly Barber with your selection. Please also check out the supply of important breast cancer awareness informational materials we have on display in the center of the call center. And if you would like to recognize someone who is currently fighting, a survivor, or someone you have lost, please feel free to add a pink "leaf" to our tree on the glass wall of the conference room.
On behalf of the SHAPE committee, thank you for your generosity and joining us in the fight!
