Make a difference: Practice With Intention! February 25.
Prevent. Detect. Cure. Comfort. Learn. Give.
For three years, Lane Fenrich and Jenny Kaufman have invited Chicago-area yoga practitioners to Practice With Intention as we raise money to help Susan G. Komen save lives and end breast cancer forever. Although enormous strides have been made even in that short time to prevent, detect, and evenutally cure the various forms of breast cancer, too many women in our own lives and around the world still grapple with this disease. Together, we've raised over $20,000. This year, we'd like to push the figure to $30,000--or more! You can help.
Please join us at 10AM on February 25 at Found Kitchen and Social House (1631 Chicago Ave., Evanston) for ninety minutes of yoga and meditation followed by mimosas and pastries from Hewn Hand-Forged Artisan Bread 810 Dempster St., Evanston.
Minimum suggested donation: $75 online. $100 at the door (cash only).
If you can't attend the event, please donate anyway! And be generous! If you donated previously, please consider doubling that amount! Every dollar you give connects women with services they might not otherwise get and brings us that much closer to a cure.
Namaste--and see you on February 25!
Lane and Jenny
