Nancy NIelsen Race for the Cure
It's Nancy again asking for your help in eradicating breast cancer.
As you already know, I am now a twelve year survivor of breast cancer - and I am doing wonderfully. There are many reasons for that: first and foremost, is my faith and the loving support of all my family and friends, of course I cannot forget the wonderful medical care in diagnosing and treating of cancer. Other members of my family have not been as fortunate as I have been and that includes my mother and mother-in-law, both of whom lost their individual battles with breast cancer. Now my focus automatically is shifted to the hope that my daughters and nieces can be cancer-free their entire lives. That focus also goes to the many thousands of women who may contract breast cancer in the future. Hopefully with the help of organizatins like Susan G Komen foundation, they can get early screening and treatment as needed.
Most of you have generously supported me for the past twelve years and once again I am asking for your continued support. If you can financially support me , that is wonderful. Otherwise, join my family and me in walking this 5K course and see the enthusiasm at the race. Or send an email to encourage me. The walk this year is on Septmeber 9 - later than usual, but it still has great meaning to me and my family
Thank you for your support.
I want to make an impact in the fight against breast cancer in a different way, so I’ve joined Race for the Cure! I want to help Susan G. Komen save lives and end breast cancer forever. I’m taking my first step towards a world without breast cancer by raising funds to stop this disease that affects 1 in 8 women during their lifetime. As the world’s largest and most impactful breast cancer organization, Susan G. Komen supports more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit outside the U.S. government, while providing real-time help to those facing the disease.
You can make a donation online with your credit card by clicking the button above my fundraising thermometer.
Thank you for supporting me in Race for the Cure as I participate in support of ending breast cancer forever.
