Join Me in the Fight Against Breast Cancer
Dear Friends and Family,
My Bat Mitzvah is fast approaching.
Becoming a Bat Mitzvah means being recognized in the Jewish faith as an adult. With that comes the responsibility of doing good in my community and in the world. and being an example for other kids. so they will want to do the same.
For my Bat Mitzvah project, I have decided to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This charity has the goal of raising awareness and supporting research for breast cancer.
The reason I chose this charity is because my Grandma Harriet has had to fight breast cancer TWICE! Luckily, because of her amazing doctors and all of the resources dedicated to breast cancer research, she is still alive to celebrate with me!!!
Next year, I am going to host a fun event for my family, friends, and neighbors near my home to get more people involved in the cause. Please look out for more information on that soon.
Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women during their lifetimes. As the world’s largest and most impactful breast cancer organization, Susan G. Komen supports more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit outside the U.S. government, while providing real-time help to those facing the disease.
You can make a donation online with your credit card by clicking the button above my fundraising thermometer.
Thank you for supporting me as I participate in support of ending breast cancer forever.
