Join UPMC Supply Chain in Honoring Janet L Haski
On Tuesday, May 28, 2019 we unexpectedly lost a cherished friend of many at UPMC. Janet had an unwavering force of positivity about her and will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
In 1965, Janet began her work career in the Accounts Payable Department of Braddock General Hospital. Upon the closure of UPMC Braddock, she continued her career in the downtown office of UPMC where she was currently employed in Supply Chain Accounts Payable. In 2015, Janet was recognized by UPMC for her 50 years of combined service to Braddock General and UPMC.
One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Janet L Haski was one of those people. She was a 14-year breast cancer survivor and participated numerous times in the Susan B. Komen Walk on Mother's Day.
Please help me honor Janet L Haski by raising funds to support Susan G. Komen so they can provide education, screening and treatment programs for women and men in our community, and support cutting-edge research so that one day we can live in a world without breast cancer.
As the world’s largest and most impactful breast cancer organization, Susan G. Komen supports more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit outside the U.S. government, while providing real-time help to those facing the disease.
