Komen National Fundraising Projects

MMAC Karate Kids

When Susan G. Komen Arizona shut its doors last July, the Race for the Cure was canceled. Well, with disappointment came opportunity so Trevor and I decided to start our own race. The first annual Grannie Annie Hike will take place Saturday October 21 at South Mountain Park! My mother (Trevor's Grannie Annie) was first diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010 and passed away in May, 2016. We couldn't think of a better way to honor the memory of such a wonderful woman than to create an event to help others in their fight against this horrible disease.

As the world’s largest and most impactful breast cancer organization, Susan G. Komen supports more breast cancer research than any other nonprofit outside the U.S. government, while providing real-time help to those facing the disease.

You can make a donation online with your credit card by clicking the button above my fundraising thermometer.

Thank you for supporting me in Grannie Annie Hike 2017 as we look forward to starting something that will hopefully become bigger and better each year to fight breast cancer while honoring the memory of Annie Marks.
