Event DescriptionJoin Susan G. Komen Marathon for the Cure in training and running for the Rock 'n' Roll San Antonio Marathon and Half Marathon.Featuring ideal running temperatures in the mid-60’s and beautiful Hill Country scenery, San Antonio proves to be the perfect destination for a late-fall running vacation. Combine your athletic conquests with a weekend getaway in Texas’ cultural mecca. The flat and fast marathon and half marathon routes are perfect for runners and walkers at every level. The race routes will highlight the signature sights of San Antonio, including the Alamo and lush Mission Trail, home of five missions and centuries of culture. In true rockstar fashion, 70 live bands, 40 cheer teams and themed water stations will line the course to keep you entertained from start to finish. In order to join Marathon for the Cure, you will need to commit to fundraise the minimum based on your program whether you need a race entry or you already have your race entry.
