I have participated in the Susan G. Komen walk for three years in the past. Never did I think that this year I would participate as a survivor. On June 22nd, 2018 I received the phone call that I had TNBC (triple negative breast cancer). It has been a battle but I could not have persevered without the help of my family & friends. My strength and resilience over the last months came from those around me. So in order to help further research for a cure for this beast I am challenging those in my village to join me in walking and/or supporting the mission of Susan G. Komen to show off the super powers you have given me and support a good cause!!
As a survivor I want to continue to take action and be More Than Pink®. I want to make an impact in the fight against breast cancer and need your help. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts.
Your support helps us get one step closer to a world without breast cancer. 75 percent of the money raised through the Walk stays in the community to fund local breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs. The remaining 25 percent supports groundbreaking breast cancer research.
Together, we are fueling the best science, boldest community and biggest impact in the fight against breast cancer. And we will not stop until this disease is gone forever. That's our promise. Will you please join me in this fight by making a donation today?
