This year, the Race for the Cure will not have a timed option. Our goal is to create an opportunity for the breast cancer community to come together and celebrate their shared experience as they walk our route through Balboa Park. The majority of our participants prefer to walk, rather than race. If you are more of a competitive spirit, you are still welcome to run and keep your own time! We look forward to seeing you out there!
REGISTER AS A VIRTUAL PARTICIPANT
New and returning volunteers are encouraged to get involved. All volunteers will receive a unique Race Volunteer T-shirt! Click here to explore volunteer opportunities at Race!

Be a part of the Survivor Parade during the Opening Ceremony!
- Fill out your personalized Survivor Sign located at the front of the Survivor Village

- You will be directed to walk on the stage at the appropriate time during the Opening Ceremony
I Am Komen® is the mission engagement program of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® Series that motivates people to take action steps that may reduce their risk of breast cancer. It speaks to the importance of early detection and healthy living while encouraging everyone to make a personal commitment to their breast health. I Am Komen® is a “Declaration” to join the Komen community as an ambassador in the fight against breast cancer.
