2018 SURVIVOR BREAKFAST (Updated 07/25/18)
FASQ (Frequently Asked Survivor Question): Are Survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer expected to fundraise?
Answer: Yes! Fundraising and donations is how this affiliate is able to survive. We do not get financial support from Komen HQ. Registrations $'s only allow us to have the Race by paying for city fees, park fees, permits, T-shirts, etc. Without fundraising, you will not be able to enjoy the Survivor Breakfast and celebration.
The 2018 Survivor Breakfast will open at 7:00am and will be held in a private tent and over looking the Brazos River as we have moved our Race location to Brazos Park East.
Survivor Breakfast tickets will be included in your 2018 Central Texas Race packets.
Tickets will give access to Survivors ONLY. (Due to increased costs of shirts and deminished fundraising, Survivors will only receive a PINK Race shirt this year)
This year our Survivor Breakfast area will remain open or the entire event for our Survivors to have a place to sit and rest if needed.
Breakfast Opens: 7:00am
Survivor Parade: 7:40am
Survivor Photo: 7:50am
You’ll find an incredible community of survivors and co-survivors at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure®. Survivors and co-survivors gather to celebrate and support one another in an atmosphere of genuine camaraderie. It is their inspiring spirit that energizes us to continue the fight to end breast cancer forever and their fundraising efforts that encourage other participants to be More Than Pink™ .
