Your gift could provide a one month supply of Tamoxifen, a drug used to treat breast cancers that rely on estrogen for growth, to a patient in need. Every 60 seconds, somewhere in the world, someone dies from breast cancer. Your gift will help save lives! Your gift could provide a screening mammogram to an uninsured or underinsured person in need. Your gift could provide a breast prosthesis for an uninsured or underinsured woman in need. Who is your "Nancy"?

My family and I have been involved, in some form or fashion, with the Susan G. Komen organization for a long time.  They were the organization who provided breast health educational materials for my sister Nancy’s benefit, 20 years ago.  When Nancy died just shy of her 30th birthday, I knew I had to stay connected to Komen.  Since then Komen remained a part of our lives, and I know had a direct impact on saving my life and had a hand in the cure for my cancer.   This September we will continue to have our Team Nancy for the More Than Pink Walk on September 30th at Coney Island.  For me, Team Nancy is a representative for so many “Nancys”, it seems everyone has a “Nancy” in their life.  So if you would like to join us, donate, ask friends and family, please do! All are welcome.

Smiles
Jean
