Be more than pink

Game date to be determined by Angels Baseball.
JOIN THE WEEKLY COUNTDOWN CHALLENGE: We’re less than one month away from the walk! To celebrate the countdown, we are giving one lucky fundraiser a $200 Fashion Island gift card each week—Sunday 12:00AM through Saturday 11:59PM each week! Participants who increases their fundraising by $100 each week are automatically entered to win. Weekly winners will be selected every Sunday and the contest resets so there are multiple chances to earn! Special thank you to Fashion Island for their generous gift card donation, making this opportunity possible. Be sure to share with your teams!

FAVORITE RETURNING CLASSICS:
WHY THE CHANGE?
Breast cancer is changing and so is Komen Orange County. Every day in Orange County five women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and one will die from the disease. There is much to do beyond wearing your favorite shade of pink--awareness is important, but action saves lives.
The walk event experience is designed to give participants a closer look at how their efforts are making a significant impact in critical breast cancer research, local community programs, public policy advocacy, and patient care in our local community. Thanks to your support of Komen initiatives and programs, early breast cancer detection and effective treatments have resulted in a 40% decline in breast cancer mortality in the U.S. in the last five years.
But our work isn’t over yet.
As long as people are suffering, we are committed to this fight and we need you to walk with us on Sunday, September 22. Plus, every dollar you raise funds more life-saving research, needed community health programs, public policy advocacy, and critical patient care for those we love in Orange County and beyond. You have the power to change lives. Walk with us!
