As in past years, I have registered for the 2020 Komen MORE THAN PINK Walk. This walk has a special place in my heart. I have walked in this race since 2003. I have walked in memory of loved ones lost, in celebration of those who have battled and won, and in support of those who are still in the fight. This walk took on a more personal meaning when I too received a breast cancer diagnosis in December of 2015. I had my surgery in January of 2016 and walked my first race as a SURVIVOR in May of 2016.
The thing that sticks with me the most is that no matter the reason for my walk I have never had to walk this race alone. This point became even more evident and important to me when my family and friends showed up and walked in support of me.
Please help me let those who are currently in the fight know that they are not alone. Will you consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fundraising efforts? Your support helps us get one step closer to a world without breast cancer.
Thank you for your support and prayers,
