Why We Walk
The MORE THAN PINK Walk is Komen’s signature fundraising event. It’s a day where we can put aside everything else in our lives and share our stories, our laughter, and our tears to raise money that saves lives. While we may not be able to meet in-person, arms linked, side-by-side, we can still come together virtually to celebrate survivors those living with breast cancer, and honor loved ones lost.
I was lucky, my doctor caught it early and I was aggressive with the treatment, but not everyone is as lucky. Every year it's so important for me to help raise money for Komen so those that aren't as lucky as I am have the care and support they need to fight this disease.

Our event is evolving
What started as one Race for the Cure event is now the world’s largest and most successful education and fundraising event for breast cancer.
Our new breast cancer walk format means we can focus on sharing our passion exchanging our stories and connecting with others—all while fundraising to reach our goal of a world without breast cancer.
