Why We Walk
The MORE THAN PINK Walk is Komen’s signature fundraising event. It’s a day where we can put aside everything else in our lives and share our stories, our laughter, and our tears to raise money that saves lives. While we may not be able to meet in-person, arms linked, side-by-side, we can still come together virtually to celebrate survivors those living with breast cancer, and honor loved ones lost.
I couldn’t save or help my sister Fawn, so in an effort to save others and keep her legacy alive, it is important to me to move forward and help other people.

Find out howMy first walk was the first time I felt like I wasn’t alone in coping with breast cancer. I felt like I found a family.

Living with MBC
I walk in honor of my mom. I walk because everyone deserves a lifetime. And I will keep walking, because I can't walk away.

Our event is evolving
What started as one Race for the Cure event is now the world’s largest and most successful education and fundraising event for breast cancer.
Our new breast cancer walk format means we can focus on sharing our passion exchanging our stories and connecting with others—all while fundraising to reach our goal of a world without breast cancer.
