I race for my momma. in December of 2015 they found a spot on her yearly exam. They did a biopsy and on January 11, 2016, she was officially diagnosed with cancer. Stage 4, terminal. If she hadn't had access to basic medical care, she may never have known. Unfortunately, it was too late for her and she passed away on February 2, 2018.
This is why Komen is so important to me. I want to help women in Oklahoma have access to life-saving technology and treatment that they might not otherwise have.
