It was almost 2 years to the day that our family found out my mother had breast cancer...it was the most completely devasting news I could have ever heard in my life. It is one of those things you hear it happening to "other" people but never thinking it would EVER happen to someone in your own family. I can't even begin to imagine what my mother went through. I know even though deep down she was extremely scared, she was also determined and strong, she put up a good fight and and ended up kick the cancers' BUTT!!! This past summer she had reconstructive surgery and is doing extremely well! GOD BLESS ALL THOSE WHO ARE EFFECTED BY CANCER!!
