As some of you may know, I will be participating in the Passionately Pink Tea and Date Auction In Richmond, VA on Saturday November 14, 2009 at 2 pm at Blackfinn Restaurant. I'll be one of the bachelors auctioned off for a very nice and most certainly fun date night with the highest bidder. This is a benefit with the proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. For those whose lives have been affected in any way by cancer, realize that once a cure is found for one form of cancer, it will be the beginning of a cure for all cancer.

For those unable to make it that day (or even if you are), I would like to offer another opportunity to contribute.
The Richmond Marathon / Half-Marathon / 8K road race is being held that same morning. I just started running in January 2008 and to date have never gone more than 6.2 miles at a time (a 10K road race). I may be stumbling into the auction that afternoon, but I've decided to run/walk/crawl the Half Marathon the morning of the Bachelor Auction in hopes of raising additional money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
