Marissa's mother and several friends of their familes have battled breast cancer. The girls hope to raise awareness and contribute to finding a cure through racing in the Missouri River 340. The MR 340 is a canoe race in which the girls will be the youngest to have entered. They recently finished the Hugh Heward 50 mile challenge in Michigan. Together with their fathers, sponsors (Kruger Canoes, Kialoa Paddles, and RP Lumber) and all of you to support them they hope to finish the 340 mile paddle in 4 days.

As of July 31st ELM of Peoria IL will match 50 cents on the dollar for each donation until race end.

Sorry everyone. We had to delete the videos from You Tube. There was a pornographic site commenting and possibly posting them. It's sad what we have to worry about in this world. Thanks for looking.

I can't tell you how proud I am of you! Both of you girls have so much fight in you, that I have no worries that you will do amazingly! My mom has struggled with cancer over the last year, and knowing that you are out there fighting for her brings me to tears! Go out there and get'em. I will be keeping track of you along the way. Miss Hasler :)

I had the pleasure of being Hannah's 5th grade teacher. Her kindness was evident in everything she did. I am not surprised that such a young person would challenge herself to raise money that can benefit others. I am so proud of you Hannah. The outcome isn't what matters...the determination to make a difference does!
