2013 South Central WI Race for the Cure

We look forward to welcoming you as part of the 2013 Race for the Cure on Sunday, June 2nd! It takes the collective effort of over 500 volunteers to make our event successful each year. Thanks for contributing!

Volunteers play a vital role in the Komen North Texas Plano Race for the Cure®. Their passion and commitment is what makes our Race successful. This disease has touched so many people, either through their own personal experience or that of a loved one. Will you join our passionate fight by volunteering on Race day?

Volunteer to help at the 2013 Race for the Cure. Assistance is needed both before, after, and on Race Day. Many tasks are possible to do and still run the Race!

A day of pampering and education for women at the Pathways shelter. Women attending the event will have the opportunity to get manicures, facials, and hair cuts. Komen volunteers will help to provide lunch and goody bags to participants.

Komen Nebraska will have an educational booth at the Sarpy County Health and Benefit Fair on Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 7:30 am to 11:30 am.

Indianapolis Sport, Fitness and Hobby Show features hundreds of local and national exhibitors showcasing the very best in sport, fitness and hobby related products, services and activities all under one roof at the Indiana State Fairgrounds beginning June 22nd-23rd, 2013. Guest appearances, past and present athletes and celebrities, autograph sessions, prize giveaways, professional demonstrations & the latest and greatest to satisfy all sport, fitness and hobby enthusiasts.

Little Red Door's 2nd Annual Big Red Bash will be held on Saturday, July 13th from 10-2 in Military Park, and it is a day for the community to Participate, Play, and learn how to Prevent cancer through adopting healthy lifestyle behaviors.
The event will feature health screenings, the family fun zone with BOUNCE HOUSES, A ZIP LINE and other activities for kids of all ages, Come hungry for healthy vittles! There will be a food truck rally with healthy food choices...AND so much more.

This cycling event is designed to make a Big, Bold, Impact - you can choose to ride 30, 60 or 100 miles and each Rider is required to raise a minimum of $500 in donations to participate.
With every mile traveled and every dollar raised we move closer to the Komen vision of a world without breast cancer.

18th Annual Komen NENY Race for the Cure

These volunteers play a critical role in rallying support for the Race for the Cure in each of their respective counties. They encourage their communities to form race teams and to reach their fundraising goals. These volunteers also organize the hanging of posters in their home counties for the Race for the Cure.
